Take a B @Leticia Parque Orellana towards KM11 (B every 25min). @KM11 the hostel will be on your LH-side; the bakery run by the Uitoto indigenous community, known as community of km 11, will be on your RH-side.
In the 2Ha of forest which make up the reserve, you will find rustic cabins with ample space to ensure your stay is comfortable. Cabins are available privately or to share with other guests as dorms; you will also find space for hammocks & camping, as well as recreation areas. Whilst exploring their network of forest paths, you can enjoy nature in all its splendour & perhaps see some of its inhabitants such as colorful birds, parrots, toucans, fluttering butterflies, squirrels, lizards. At night, the frogs begin their chorus; some agoutis & armadillos look for food in the area. Enjoy the night monkeys & tamarins; the 2 species of monkey that are most commonly spot of the 5 that pass through the reserve. All this, surrounded by enormous tropical palm trees, majestic Brazil nut trees, fruit trees, flowers & platanillos: authentic dinosaurs of the plant kingdom. Just in front of the reserve, you will be able to take advantage of the only restaurant which serves traditional indigenous food in Leticia. In doing so, you can share your experience with the friendly residents of the Uitoto indigenous community.
